…but still as beautiful as ever. I love this run - probably even more than Buffy. The wide open spaces, woods, climbs and descents, deer, cattle, sheep, squirrels and birds. The sounds and smells. Cliché that it is, runs like this really make you feel great to be alive.
I set off today feeling stressed and pretty low - the usual stuff: challenges of running a business and all that goes with it. But fifteen minutes into a seven miler in this terrain is all I need to straighten myself out. It clears my mind and puts everything into perspective. Makes me feel like Forrest Gump - I want to run forever.
